Set of 4 original B64 “Cesca” dining armchairs. (Stamped “made in Italy”).
Cesca chairs were initially designed in 1928 by French Hungarian architect Marcel Breuer and named after his daughter Francesca.
Modernist, architect, and furniture designer Marcel Breuer, extended the sculptural vocabulary he had developed in the carpentry shop at the Bauhaus into a unique architecture that made him one of the world’s most famous architects at the peak of 20th-century design.
These Bauhaus-style armchairs are part of the most important list from the 20th-century design furniture collection.
