Set of four B32 “Cesca” dining chairs, designed in 1928 by French Hungarian architect Marcel Breuer and named after his daughter Francesca.
Modernist, architect, and furniture designer, Marcel Breuer, extended the sculptural vocabulary he had developed in the carpentry shop at the Bauhaus into a personal architecture that made him one of the world’s most famous architects at the peak of the 20th Century design.
These Bauhaus-style chairs are part of the most important list from the 20th-century design furniture collection. Chrome tube frame. Seat and back in Wien straw with natural black lacquered beech edge.
