Italian Design Club (“Italian Design Club”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information when you visit www.italiandesignclub.com, contact us, request information about our products or services, use our Interior Design Service, apply to or participate in our Trade Program, or otherwise interact with us.

Interior Design Service
If you contact us regarding our Interior Design Service, we may also collect information relating to:
- your project
- project location
- design requirements and preferences
- estimated timing
- budget or other information you voluntarily provide in connection with the project
Trade Program
If you apply to the Italian Design Club Trade Program or have an approved Trade account, we may collect and process:
- first and last name
- professional email address
- telephone number
- company, architecture practice or design studio name
- professional role
- company website or professional social-media profile
- country
- VAT number or other company identification information, where applicable
- account username and login information
- preferred currency
- Trade Program application and approval status
- information necessary to verify professional eligibility
- commercial conditions and Trade pricing associated with your account
- communications and enquiries made through your Trade account
We do not require Trade Program applicants to provide special categories of personal data.
Transaction and business information
Where you purchase, reserve or enquire about an item, we may process information relating to:
- the products concerned
- quotations and negotiated commercial conditions
- invoices
- shipping and delivery information
- payment status and transaction-related information where necessary
Payment information may be processed by banks, payment providers or other financial institutions involved in the transaction. We do not intentionally store complete payment-card credentials on our website.
Technical and usage data
When you visit our website, certain technical information may be collected automatically, including:

- verify whether a Trade applicant qualifies as a design professional

- display the appropriate Trade pricing and preferred currency to registered Trade users
- apply individual commercial conditions to specific Trade accounts where agreed
- maintain and administer customer relationships
- provide customer support
- protect the security and proper functioning of our website and accounts
- prevent misuse, fraud or unauthorized account access
- comply with accounting, tax, legal and regulatory obligations
- establish, exercise or defend legal claims
- send marketing communications where permitted by applicable law and, where required, after obtaining your consent
4. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) applies, we process personal data on one or more of the following legal bases.
Performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures
We process information where necessary to respond to a request made by you, prepare a quotation, provide our services, manage a sale or reservation, evaluate a Trade application or administer an existing customer or Trade relationship.
Legitimate interests
We may process personal data where necessary for our legitimate business interests, including:
- managing professional and customer relationships
- verifying eligibility for the Trade Program
- administering personalized commercial conditions
- improving and securing our website and services
- preventing fraud and misuse
- maintaining business records

5. TRADE PROGRAM AND PERSONALIZED PRICING
Access to the Italian Design Club Trade Program is subject to approval.
Information provided through a Trade application may be reviewed to determine whether the applicant qualifies as an interior designer, architect, design studio or other eligible professional.
Approved Trade users may receive dedicated pricing and commercial conditions.
Different Trade customers may receive different commercial conditions depending on the commercial relationship with Italian Design Club.
Information regarding an individual customer’s Trade discount or commercial terms is associated with that customer’s account and is not intended to be publicly displayed.
Trade applications, approvals and individual commercial conditions are managed by Italian Design Club and are not determined solely through automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant effects.
6. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
Participation in the Trade Program or submission of another website form does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications.
Where we offer an option to receive newsletters, new arrivals or other promotional communications, such choice will be presented separately where required by applicable law.
You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe option provided in the communication or by contacting us at info@italiandesignclub.com.
7. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
Our website uses essential cookies that are necessary for the website to function correctly, including cookies related to WordPress, WooCommerce, security, login sessions and user preferences. These cookies do not require consent where they are strictly necessary.
With your consent, we also use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand how visitors interact with our website, including pages viewed and website interactions. Google Analytics is not activated unless you choose to accept optional analytics cookies.

- Interior Design Service information is retained for the duration of the project and thereafter where necessary for business, legal or record-keeping purposes
- Trade application information is retained for the period necessary to evaluate and administer the application
- information relating to approved Trade accounts is retained while the account or commercial relationship remains active and thereafter where reasonably necessary
- contractual, invoicing and accounting records are retained for the periods required under applicable law
- marketing information based on consent is retained until consent is withdrawn or the information is otherwise no longer required
Where information is no longer required, it will be deleted, anonymized or securely archived where immediate deletion is not technically possible.
11. DATA SECURITY
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
However, no system or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their Trade account credentials and should notify us if they suspect unauthorized access to their account.

Where the GDPR or similar data-protection legislation applies, you may have the right to:
- request access to your personal data
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- request deletion of your personal data
- request restriction of processing
- object to processing based on legitimate interests

13. INFORMATION REQUIRED TO PROVIDE OUR SERVICES
Fields marked as mandatory in our forms are necessary for us to process the relevant request.
If you do not provide required information, we may be unable to:
- respond to an enquiry
- prepare a quotation
- provide a requested service
- evaluate a Trade Program application
- create or administer a Trade account
Optional information may be omitted without preventing submission unless otherwise indicated.
14. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our website and Trade Program are not specifically directed at children.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children where parental or guardian consent would be required under applicable law.
If we become aware that personal data has been collected inappropriately, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms or services.
Italian Design Club is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any external website or service you use.
